Getting Rid of the Gorilla Notes

StartFragment

Have you ever read a book that continued to plague you long after reading it. I am sure most of us have. However, the book I am thinking of as I write this was one “suggested” to me. So it isn't so much the book itself I am plagued by but what part of the book this person was thinking of when he/she suggested I read it.

The first time I read the book I had to keep putting it down. It was like if I didn't put it down it would burn me. I let it sit a few days before attempting to read it again.

The second time I read the book I tried to memorize each word in each paragraph of certain chapters. By memorizing I thought ok since this is so me and I see the Why so I need to find within these words the how to change or fix.

The third time I read the book I highlighted and wrote notes. Mainly because the book didn't give you the how to change or fix but in hopes of discussing the book with the person who loaned it me I could get these answers.

It is kinda scary to know there are others like yourself out there. Others willing to tell their stories in hopes of helping those of us who don't tell there story.

Just my thought for the day
